Mbalizi Institute of Health Sciences is an institution located in Mbeya District, Mbeya Region, owned by the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Tanzania (ELCT) with its headquarters in Mbalizi town. The Institute invites applications from qualified and competent candidates for the following vacant positions:

TEACHING POSITION – NURSING CADRE

(I) Nursing Officer Grade II – 04 Posts

Applicant Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from a Government-recognized University
Registered with the Tanzania Nursing and Midwifery Council (TNMC)
Completed one (1) year internship
At least one (1) year of working experience
Valid practicing license from TNMC
Computer proficiency (MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
Completed Training in Teaching Methodology

Duties and Responsibilities

Teaching students in the Nursing and Midwifery cadre
Coordinating nursing-related research activities
Supervising and implementing quality assurance services
Ensuring compliance with institutional and Ministry of Health regulations
Performing other duties as assigned by the supervisor

TEACHING POSITION – RADIOLOGY CADRE

(II) Health Technologist (Radiation) Grade II – 02 Posts

Applicant Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Radiology from a Government-recognized University
Registered with the Medical Radiology Council of Tanzania
At least one (1) year of working experience
Valid practicing license from the Medical Radiology Council
Computer proficiency (MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
Completed Training in Teaching Methodology

Duties and Responsibilities

Teaching students in the Radiology cadre
Coordinating research in radiology and radiation safety
Supervising quality assurance for radiation services
Ensuring compliance with institutional and Ministry of Health regulations
Performing other duties as assigned by the supervisor

General Conditions

Applicant must be a citizen of Tanzania
Applicant must attach a birth certificate
Applicant must attach a detailed Curriculum Vitae (C.V.) including:
- Reliable postal address
- Valid phone numbers
- Names of three (3) reliable referees
Applications must include professional certificates, transcripts, Form IV and/or Form VI certificates, and graduation certificates
