We are seeking highly qualified Swahili Language Specialists to train, test, and evaluate advanced AI language models using real-world and academic Swahili language scenarios.

Key Responsibilities

Engage with AI language models using complex Swahili linguistic scenarios
Verify grammatical accuracy, logical soundness, and cultural appropriateness
Identify, document, and reproduce recurring linguistic errors
Evaluate noun class systems, verb conjugation, syntax, and sentence structure
Assess idiomatic expressions, tone, pronunciation, and pragmatic language use
Provide structured feedback to improve prompt engineering and evaluation metrics

Required Qualifications

Master’s degree or PhD in Swahili Language, Linguistics, or a related field (preferred)
Advanced knowledge of Swahili grammar, morphology, semantics, and phonetics
Experience in linguistic research, translation, or language analysis projects
Peer-reviewed publications are a strong advantage
Ability to clearly document reasoning and analytical steps
Strong written communication skills in English

Compensation and Work Conditions

Hourly pay ranges from $8 to $65, depending on experience, expertise, and location
Fully remote, contract-based position
